trivia
“Cue Boy” is a snooker game by Steve Siddle.
First released in 1992 for the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64.
What’s more, this game was only released as part of the “Super Sports Challenge” compilation.
It’s highly likely that the game’s working title was called “Wacky Pool”, a name that’s been mentioned a few times around late-1992 in “Commodore Format” magazine.
Especially as the game itself features Loud Reggie from “Wacky Darts”.
The table is viewed from above and takes up the majority of the screen.
At the top of the screen are a few options.
Line up the shot, spin, strength of shot and reset the game.
Occasionally, Loud Reggie appears to update you on your game, and a small man appears over the pocket the computer is aiming for.
